Job Details
Seeking Superintendent for Commercial Construction projects in and round the Belle Plaine, Cedar Rapids, Marshalltown, Grinnell area. Candidate will be responsible for running the daily operations of construction sites. Experience is required. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. Work directly with support staff.
- Travel to site to manage multiple subcontractors, and vendors at multiple construction sites
- Monitor construction progress and report on real-time status directly to our Project Manager
- Ensure that all construction schedules are kept, and completion dates met
Requirements
- Proficiency in reading construction plans, prints, emails
- Experience working with large commercial constructions projects
- Regular weekly travel
- Diverse projects
- Excellent communication skills are critical—must be able to communicate both with trades and senior management
- Former experience as a site supervisor or superintendent with large commercial general contractor preferred
